Ever hear of stinging caterpillars?
I know that insects can bite and some can be very painful and/or harmful. A good friend had a run in with a centipede that opened my eyes to this potential problem. Caterpillars seem so docile and interesting that one doesn’t usually associate pain and a need for caution with these members of the animal kingdom.

Southern cities seem to have a caché of their own. They often have special cuisine, culture and style. They often have very picturesque gardens as well. Citizens of these locales often provide plenty of interesting planters and gardens around their homes. These pictures of Savannah offer inspiration and perhaps some ideas!
