Hey Jeff, I just found your blog and am finding it so helpful and informative. I live in Glendale and am new to gardening. I just started a vegetable garden and am enjoying putting out some spring flowers in pots. I’m loving the potato vines and saw in one of your posts that they do pretty well in the summer here. Do you know how they handle the full sun? I’m not quite sure where to plant them yet. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Holly

Yes, my potato vines live in the hottest part of our garden. I have one in a hanging planter and it gets sun almost all day. The trick is to keep them well watered. There are period where I water it daily. This year I stored the tubers (green potato vine) over winter in the garage for use this summer.
