Welcome to the Gardening on the Moon website. I started this blog to share my experiences about relocating to a totally new area after a lifetime of living on the east coast of the United States. My wife and I moved from the Garden State of New Jersey to Cave Creek, AZ which couldn’t be more different. It is truly like gardening on the moon compared to my forty years of living in New Jersey.
I worked in education fields my entire adult life. After spending many years as a Director of Technology for a large NJ school district, I continue to work as a technology coach to individuals and businesses.
In NJ I was also an avid gardener and I now have to adjust to a completely alien gardening environment. We had many adventures in our move from one coast of the United States to the other and I am sure there will be additional adventures as we continue to adjust.
Gardening on the Moon is a blog about relocation to a unique, new area, xeriscape or desert gardening and practical “real world” technology. We will share our experiences in all of these areas over time.
